
Zebedee Parkes is a documentary filmmaker and photographer who works with diverse communities to tell stories for and about social change. His films about protest movements in Australia have screened at festivals around the world and won awards, most notably For my Friends in Detention and his most recent short documentary Acts of Protests. He holds a masters of documentary from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School, where his research looked at using alternative forms of documentary to express collectivism in activist films.
