Life in Pictures
Life in Pictures Filmmaking Competition
The Life in Pictures short filmmaking competition is one of our favourite things at Revelation.
A true grass roots up initiative, Life in Pictures is a unique approach to opening discussions around positive ageing in the community. For it, we invite all members of the community to make a three minute short film that explores positive ageing in the community or the topic of ageism.
In it, entrants have the opportunity to make a 3-mintue short film dealing with positive ageing in the community. TWe'll also be running a series of workshops across Perth and the regions.
Entries open shortly and will remain open until June 19th 2027 for filmmakers in the following categories:
17 years old or under;
18-59 years old; and
60 years old and over.
Five films from each category will be shortlisted and screened on the closing night of the Revelation Film Festival on July 18th. The evening includes the a screening of 15 of the films, the announcement of the category winners and the festival's famous closing inight party.
The Life in Pictures initiative is supported by the Lotterywest.
