In a major addition we're now including the WA Screen Culture Awards to the July festival for one special night only!
This celebration of WA home grown talent sees 23 categories is designed to acknowledge achievement and innovation in the local screen sector including narrative film forms, advertising, games and immersive, gallery-based moving image and everything in between.
It's a massive night and for this year we're also including a screening program made up of as many nominees as we can fit in with filmmaker talks, panels and networking events.
Unique in the ground it covers it also includes two special awards of Outstanding Contribution to the Industry and our coveted Independent Spirit Award.
Judged by a panel of national and international experts in their field, the WASCAs encourages participation from the entire industry in a celebration of that special voice the WA screen sector has always produced.
