Our Industrial Revelations is designed to engage the critical and creative sectors with issues, approaches and perspectives that examine international independent film practice. Here you’ll find opportunities to learn more about the behind the scenes of how the screen industry works, and to gain free new knowledge.
Through our Special Events and Industrial REV, we aim to celebrate all aspects of the screen industry, as well as giving you an ‘outside of the cinema’ experience – from films screening at the WA Museum Boola Bardip, State Library of WA, Scitech Planetarium, and the City of Perth Library, to an Academic Conference at SAE, to screenings with a little bit extra as the cherry on top, whether that be live performance or a discussion.
With Q&As galore, this is the chance for you to sit in a room with the filmmaker of the film you just saw, and ask them questions directly.
We welcome all practitioners – or even just people interested in seeing how the industry works at the molecular level so don’t be bashful. Bring your notebooks!
