James Boylan

James N. Boylan is a New York City filmmaker, sound professional, writer, editor, producer, and actor working primarily in low-budget independent cinema and indie horror. Known for his hands-on approach to filmmaking, he has contributed to numerous feature films and shorts in roles spanning sound, production, post-production, and creative development. Boylan’s credits include Portrait of Payback, Meat is Murder!, and Blood Stab, along with sound work on a variety of independent genre productions. He also worked with Troma Entertainment and served as an Associate Producer on #ShakespearesShitstorm, directed by Lloyd Kaufman. Passionate about grassroots filmmaking, he continues to collaborate with emerging artists and filmmakers to bring ambitious stories to life on independent budgets.
