INDUSTRIAL REVELATIONS WORKSHOP
Working with Super 8

Details
Saturday 12th July at 11:00
At Spectrum Gallery, ECU
Building 3 (entrance opposite Building 5) on the ECU Mount Lawley Campus at 2 Bradford Street Mount Lawley.

Launched in 1965, super 8 film was the choice of amateur filmmakers and movie enthusiasts, alongside experimental and underground filmmakers. Here was a format that was accessible, comparatively practical and offered the opportunity for ordinary people to become filmmakers.
Now, with filmmakers once again exploring the visual possibilities of the medium, super 8 is making something of a comeback.
Join filmmakers Adam C Briggs and Sam Dixon, whose A Grand Mockery is screening at Revelation, as they deliver this workshop, talking about their creative decision to use the format and get to take a closer look at the world of super 8 filmmaking.
