Similar to a songwriters’ circle, an emerging WA screen composer will present their work followed by an open panel discussion exploring the music and creative process behind each piece. Moderated by Jazz D’Arcy (Bluey, This Little Love Of Mine), this engaging conversation will showcase Boorloo composers and their unique approaches to writing music for screen and other media.

Through discussions of creative practice, collaboration, and the relationships formed with directors, producers, and developers, audiences will gain insight into how these partnerships shape the journey from initial concept to final score.

This session aims to celebrate the exceptional talent within WA while offering a rare glimpse into the art and craft of screen composition.
