After descending through a fiery flash of disastrous flames, a lost soul wakes and wanders through the purgatorial forest where he has landed. Startled by the summoning pulse of a mysterious light, he follows it deep into the forest hoping that it will guide his way out of this self-inflicting limbo. The forest is ominous and rife with secrecy, but he remains fixated on the light, speaking to himself about the sorrow and ruin of his life and this repeating pursuit. When finally in arms reach of the light, the screaming in his mind erupts, and the light shatters, flickers, and dies, leaving him in darkness – to start all over again.
