Over the last decade, Revelation has been proud to not just exhibit great films, music and moving image art, but make it. Over the last four years, Revelation has commissioned and produced 12 short non-fiction works in collaboration with the City of Vincent, with another 3 coming for 2022. The lovely works continue to screen at film festivals internationally and provide a crucial leg-up for WA filmmakers.
In 2020, we also produced four VR short films – FourByFour – that employed more than 40 local dancers, choreographers, musicians, filmmakers and screen artists and have some more to come in 2022.
We don’t mind saying that we’re awfully pleased with the Blind Date music video film competition also. With dozens of tracks provided by local musicians for filmmakers to produce music clips…well…there’s also a ton a brilliant new works and a rollicking night.
