Tony Petani

Board Member

Tony Petani is an intellectual property and commercial law specialist working closely with the film and broader arts community.  In this capacity he has advised AFI|AACTA and currently sits on its Board. Tony has also previously held board positions with arts organisations including the Blue Room Theatre (PACS), Perth’s leading independent theatre venue and has a thorough understanding of the funding principals underpinning arts organisations such as the Revelation Perth International Film Festival.

Tony brings his legal background and strong commercial skills and industry knowledge to the Board, invaluable to its continued growth as a premier film organisation.  Tony has also advised a number of producers and independent film professionals in relation to every aspect of film production in Australia.

Most importantly, Tony has a love of film in all of its forms, and enjoys sharing that passion with the film-loving community of Perth.
