The City of Vincent Film Project is one of our favourite film festival initiatives ever!
Each year Revelation partners with the City of Vincent in the commissioning of three short documentaries set in the City of Vincent with funding to the tune of $8,500 plaus $1,000 equipment hire from Raz Studios. Each film runs between 6-10minutes in an initiative designed specifically for new and emerging filmmakers.
During production, all participants are mentored through the entire process with the films screening at the closing night of the July film festival.
In recent years many projects have had great success on the international film festival circuit collectively screening at more than 150 festivals and garnering clase to 50 international awards.
The City of Vincent Film Project is a great launchpad for new and emerging filmmakers and a one-of-a-kind initiative.
