Black '47 looks at Irish history and tells a uniquely Irish story about our past. Unquiet Graves is a hard-hitting documentary which unpicks the horrific narrative of our recent politics and the third, Metal Heart, is a commercial comedy which could be located anywhere on the planet but it's set in Dublin and told in a uniquely Irish way using Irish craft and skill.
This presentation looks at the recent successes in Irish cinema and the strategies and policies that have enabled these to happen.
