11 JULY - Rage, celebration and the sounds of drums will fill the cinema as costumed dystopian fiends take to the streets of Leederville!

Cult band Injured Ninja’s take on the Epic of Gilgamesh was always going to be, well, epic.

Taking their avant-garde doom rave energy to the outback and creating ‘The Epic of Gilgamesh: Live in the Goldfields’ an event that was obviously remarkable in terms of vision, scope and execution – a combination of performance and music created by the band and their numerous collaborators.

You may have missed it, but the trio of directors were there with a crew, and the results are one of the most exhilarating concert / performance movies (although in many ways this work defies the expectations of those descriptions) that you’re likely to see.

The Goldfield’s location, the musical and artistic collaborators – including MC Mathas, Nikki Dagostino and Cameron Potts – and the power of cinema combine to create a true spectacle…

We’re cranking the sound loud, so sit back and enjoy.
