How could we possibly resist screening Canadian independent and queer-punk cinema icon Bruce LaBruce’s latest feature film? The answer is, we can’t.. so here it is.

Oozing with 70s aesthetic and LaBruce’s trademark fascination with B-cinema, this cracking addition to his oeuvre is described by The Guardian as “a sluttily sacrilegious story of incest, witches and wayward monks” and…well…that sums it up pretty well.

Domenic has grown up thinking his mother was dead, but on discovering otherwise he sets out on an odyssey of self-discovery. Squeezing himself into his leathers and straddling his motorcycle, Domenic sets off to what may be her cabin in the woods and once there, aside from engaging with himself, he encounters a young monk who bears an uncanny resemblance to himself. From there and between, all manner of forbidden relationships unfold before your very eyes. But what else would you expect?
