Nine years in the making, Lee Fields: Faithful Man tells the singer’s story, charting his life and musical career. 

More than this, the film explores his on-going influence within soul music as well as the importance of the analogue recording process in creating the sound of deep soul music (check out Amy Winehouse and the Dap-Kings). 

Great music, in-depth interviews and archive footage combine in a music documentary which should have everybody rushing out to buy Field’s music as soon as the cinema lights come on.
